Hi everyone,
We are currently reviewing the implications of the recent announcement (September 28) of the Montreal region moving to code Red.
We will be participating in a Town Hall meeting with Curling Quebec this Wednesday where we hope some, if not all, of our questions will be answered.
Later this week, we will be publishing our plan for access to the Club over the next four to six weeks, whether that be for practice, clinics, bonspiels, or League play. We are also in communication with other local curling clubs to understand their own plans for the near term.
We thank all of you for your continuing support and patience, now more than ever.
    John Michalovic
    President, BDCC

    Dear members:

In light of the announcement today ( september 24 ) from QC Health Minister Dube, the Board has made the difficult decision to postpone our Open House and Opening Bonspiel.

We thank all of you who came out on Saturday to see our preparations and we will continue to work towards our opening events.

We thank you for your continued support of the Club and we look forward to seeing you in person in the near future.

Until then, wishing you all good health.

    Ian Strachan, Vice-President
    Baie d’Urfé Curling Club

We are planning to offer, once again, our very popular Learn to Curl program!

This eight week course will start in October.  The exact day and time of the course will be advised as we move forward and determine our weekly schedule.

The program provides excellent instruction on proper and effective rock delivery and sweeping techniques, as well as the basics of strategy.  Students eventually play games against each other playing at all positions from Lead to Skip!

A high majority of our “graduates” become full time Club members in January, fully ready to contribute to their teams in regular play.

Curling offers great cardio and you discover muscles you never knew you had!

So come benefit from great exercise, team building and social connections – all while learning a new sport!
